The ability to maintain a loving and fulfilling relationship is within everyone’s reach but it requires work and some creativity. Look for me today on NBC Connecticut (between 11am and 12pm) where I’ll be sharing my tips on how you can keep the spark alive in your relationship! Here are just some of the tips I’ll be sharing with viewers:
Take a Trip Down Memory Lane. Relive your youth and some of your most romantic moments by looking at old photos and videos from when you first fell in love. If you have a memorable date night from the past, try recreating it in the present.
Create Romance. Sometimes it’s not so easy to find a babysitter for date night, but instead of canceling your romantic night out, bring the romance to you. Whether you’re just eating pizza in the kitchen or snacking on popcorn while watching a movie, add a glass of wine to your dinner and light some candles to create a more romantic setting. And even if you’re not out somewhere to dress fancy, it doesn’t mean you can’t dress up for dinner at home.
Make “New” Space. The bedroom is the most intimate space a couple shares and redesigning or just rearranging furniture can make your space feel brand new and exciting again.
Try Something New. Rather than just spending time together, spend your time engaging in new activities, something neither of you have conquered before. It could be a cooking class, ski lessons or even trying new cuisines together.

This is awesome! Congratulations!!!!
Thanks Natasha!

I made a new friend today! A mom with so much in common with me… You were a delight to have on the show. You BETTER come back (and by that I mean, when?) Kerri-Lee Mayland/NBC Connecticut
Same here Kerri-Lee! You are amazing and had such a wonderful time with you today. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much.
Your right it does require work and creativity which with all I have to get accomplished each day this gets put on the back burner. Thanks for the much needed reminder
I’m inspired myself to be more creative and to dress up more whether date night is in or out!
